COMMUNICATING

Communication skills are indeed a manifestation of high emotional intelligence. How to use correct and appropriate choices of words, proper compliments, suitable criticism, etc.is also a branch of knowledge.
Foremost in learning communication is to have a positive and optimistic attitude:Learn to listen actively, show empathy, try to think from the other’s standpoints,face problems, and resolve conflicts. Communication is an interactive process.Good communication skills not only make people feel comfortable but also build good interpersonal relationships for ourselves.

ACTING

Drama arts is an arts integration. Combining literature, aesthetics, shape, music, dance and other arts, it is displayed on the stage through the co-creation of screenwriters, directors, actors and behind-the-scenes crews. Dramas can only be presented through collective creation. Each post requires a high degree of communication and cooperation, which is of great help for listening, concentration, adaptability, imagination, emotional control and expression ability.

DANCING

Dance is an art of human movements. The use of dance language, rhythm, expression, composition, and other elements to create a beautiful and dynamic dance image and to express an art form of thoughts and feelings.

Dance focuses on a deep inner spiritual world that is difficult to express by language or other artistic expression. By creating a lively dance image, it can express the aesthetic emotions and thoughts of the dancers, reflecting the life and the artistic conceptions.

SINGING

The purpose of singing is to use proficient vocal skills to accurately and vividly express the content and the true emotions of the song, and to inspire the audience's inner resonance with the graceful voice.

Correct vocal methods and singing skills are indispensable for a successful singer, but it must be matched with the expression of emotions to move people's hearts; any moving songs - whether it is speech, music, expression of emotions, or creation of artistic conceptions - is the expression of the singer after an inner integration of life experience, music understanding, and art accumulation.

Learning to express a work in music with the greatest attention and the finest accuracy through an understanding of the song by analysing and interpreting the styles, the moods, and the composer’s creatvive intentions.

Be Brave, Be Passionate

“I.D.E.A. Quotient Education Centre” is one of the most comprehensive independent educational institutes for the arts available to teenagers in Hong Kong. It was founded by the renowned performing artist Steven Ma in 2020.
